Investment Properties Group
Led by Group President Richard Gilchrist, the Investment Properties Group is responsible for development, marketing and management of the Irvine Company’s office, retail, resort and apartment properties located in Orange County, Silicon Valley, San Diego and West Los Angeles.
The Investment Properties Group comprises:
Retail Properties: Led by President Keith Eyrich, Retail Properties oversees development, marketing, leasing and management of the Irvine Company's 37 shopping centers in California. Major properties include Irvine Spectrum Center® in Irvine, Fashion Island® in Newport Beach and The Market Place in Tustin/Irvine.
Office Properties: Led by President Val Wheeler, Office Properties is responsible for development, marketing, leasing and management of the Irvine Company’s approximately 400 office properties from San Diego to Silicon Valley. This includes Irvine Spectrum®, Newport Center®, Jamboree Center and University Research Park, which is adjacent to UC Irvine. The company also owns Symphony Towers in San Diego, Fox Plaza and Westwood Gateway in West Los Angeles and McCarthy Center in Silicon Valley.
Apartment Communities: Led by President Max Gardner, Apartment Communities owns and operates approximately 90 apartment communities in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. It is also the exclusive builder of new multi-family rental projects in master-planned communities the Irvine Company develops in Orange County.
Resort Properties: Led by President Ralph Grippo, this group is responsible for management of the Irvine Company’s two hotels and three golf clubs, as well as five marinas in Newport Harbor and Bair Island in Redwood City. The Irvine Company’s Resort Properties include: The Resort at Pelican Hill®, a luxury destination golf resort scheduled to open in late 2008; Pelican Hill Golf Club®’s two 18-hole courses at the resort; The Island Hotel Newport Beach®, which contains 295 rooms; the 536-room Hyatt Regency Irvine; Oak Creek Golf Club®’s 18-hole facility in Irvine, and Shady Canyon Golf Club®, an 18-hole private course in Irvine.
